He hammered a 109-meter six-over cow corner to Shamar Joseph. The Australians reached a mammoth total of 241, their fourth-highest in T20I cricket, thanks to his booming ton.

“It’s nice, got my parents here as well. I have had a few cursed Adelaide trips with them coming over to watch me. I broke my leg the last time they tried to come over to Adelaide. So it’s nice to have made this a positive one,” Maxwell told the broadcasters after his sensational 120.
